Precision connections and corrosion resistance requirements for production equipment: Production processes such as lithium battery electrode manufacturing and cell packaging involve the transfer of electrolyte (containing corrosive substances such as lithium salts and organic solvents) and the operation of mixing equipment. Stainless steel fittings, valves, flanges, and other accessories are used to connect pipelines, reactors, and mixing devices. The corrosion resistance of materials such as 304 and 316 protects against electrolyte corrosion while ensuring tight connections and preventing leakage that could contaminate the production environment or affect product quality. Safety protection for energy storage and transportation systems: Lithium battery energy storage equipment and transportation must cope with high and low temperature fluctuations and potential electrolyte leakage. Stainless steel pipe fittings and connectors are used to connect cooling lines within energy storage battery packs. Their high- and low-temperature resistance allows them to adapt to the circulation environment of cooling media (such as water and antifreeze), while their excellent sealing properties prevent leakage that could affect the battery's heat dissipation efficiency. Conductivity and structural support for battery modules and equipment: Some stainless steel hardware (such as specific types of stainless steel terminals and connectors) undergo conductive treatment and can be used to connect electrodes within lithium battery modules. While providing a certain degree of conductivity, the high strength of stainless steel ensures mechanical stability of the electrode connections, preventing contact failure caused by vibration and shock.
